BSP leader Mayawati announced her plans to visit Chennai to pay tribute to K Armstrong, the Tamil Nadu BSP chief who was brutally murdered near his residence in Perambur. She expressed her condolences and urged the Tamil Nadu government to take immediate action to prevent such incidents in the future.

Chief Minister MK Stalin also expressed his grief and assured that the police have arrested eight suspects and formed a special team to investigate the murder. He promised swift justice for the slain leader.
