Hayden’s Insights
Speaking at the CEAT Cricket Awards, Hayden said, “You look at the line-ups, and it is hard to really tell who has got the edge. I sense that it is going to be runs that are going to be the point of difference. So the best need to stand up in this series; runs are going to be at a premium.”
He also mentioned that the unique structure of the tournament, moving from west to east, will add to the excitement. Hayden noted that Australia hasn’t won a home series against India in nearly a decade, which will be a significant factor for the Australian team.
