Massive Fire in Okhla Phase 2 Factory and Safdarjung Hospital Incident in New Delhi

A large fire broke out in a factory located in the Okhla Phase 2 area of New Delhi early Friday morning. Firefighters quickly responded to the scene and are currently working to control the blaze.

Earlier in the week, on Tuesday morning, a fire occurred in the front portion of the ground floor of the Old Casualty Building at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi. The incident happened around 10:20 AM and was promptly addressed by a local security guard. There were no casualties, and property damage was minimal.

Following the Safdarjung Hospital incident, the Medical Superintendent held a meeting with all stakeholders, including CPWD, the Estate, and the Fire Management Team. CPWD has been tasked with conducting a comprehensive assessment to determine the extent of the damage and necessary repairs.
