In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Special Cell of Delhi Police and Gujarat Police arrested five individuals linked to a significant cocaine bust. On Sunday, a joint operation led to the seizure of 518 kilograms of cocaine valued at Rs 5,000 crore from Avkar Drugs Limited Company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. This operation aligns with the Zero Tolerance against Drugs policy and the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

Earlier, on October 1, a raid at Tushar Goyal’s warehouse in Mahipalpur resulted in the discovery of 562 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana. Further investigations uncovered an additional 208 kilograms of cocaine from a shop in Ramesh Nagar, Delhi, on October 10. In total, 1,289 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana, worth Rs 13,000 crore, have been seized.

The drugs were traced back to Pharma Solution Services and originated from Avkar Drugs Limited Company. The Directorate of Enforcement also conducted searches in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai related to this case. On October 10, 200 kilograms of cocaine, worth Rs 2,000 crore, were found in Ramesh Nagar, hidden in namkeen packets. A resident of Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested for transporting the drugs, and a UK citizen involved remains at large.
