Paris [France], July 30: India’s shooting stars Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh made history by winning bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Paris Olympics. This victory marks the first time an Indian women’s athlete has won two medals at the same Olympics.

Historic Achievement

Manu Bhaker had already secured a bronze medal in the women’s individual 10m air pistol event. Together with Sarabjot Singh, they defeated South Korea’s Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin 16-10 in the bronze medal play-off match. This win increased India’s medal tally to two at the Paris Olympics.

Consistent Performance

Both Bhaker and Sarabjot shot consistently, scoring regular 10s in their series against the Korean team.
