Man’s Body Found in Yamuna River, Another Stabbed in Vijay Vihar
A man’s body was found floating in the Yamuna River in New Delhi on Sunday morning. The Delhi Police received a call at the Shaheen Bagh Police Station about the discovery. A crime team and divers were sent to the scene. The deceased, a male aged between 55 and 60, was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue trousers, with a pendant around his neck and a rakhi on his right wrist. The body was taken to AIIMS for further investigation.
Earlier, on August 22, a man named Parveen, aged 52, was found stabbed to death in the Vijay Vihar area. The Delhi Police received a call at 5:20 AM about an injured person at Gali No. 10, Vijay Vihar. The local police team arrived promptly and took the injured man to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Parveen was a resident of Village Rithala, Delhi. A case has been registered, and multiple teams are working to apprehend the culprits.
