Manolo Marquez Becomes New Coach for India’s Football Team
Former India head coach Igor Stimac extended his best wishes to Manolo Marquez, who has been appointed as the new head coach of the Indian senior men’s national football team. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced Marquez’s appointment on Saturday.

During his time as head coach, Stimac achieved 19 wins, 14 draws, and 20 losses. His dismissal was expected due to the team’s unsatisfactory performances in recent competitions. After his sacking, Stimac criticized Kalyan Chaubey, the President of AIFF, stating, “The sooner Chaubey leaves, the better it is for Indian football.”
