New Delhi, India – Bharatiya Janata Party MP Manoj Tiwari has called on the new Chief Minister of Delhi, Atishi, to investigate the city’s liquor policy and address the government’s revenue loss. In an official letter, Tiwari also urged the CM to focus on improving school infrastructure and reducing electricity and water bills.

Tiwari questioned why the liquor policy was withdrawn and how much revenue was lost. He also raised concerns about the high costs of semi-permanent school structures. Additionally, he requested immediate repairs to the broken roads under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).

Criticizing former CM Arvind Kejriwal, Tiwari claimed that Kejriwal had caused significant damage during his tenure. He expressed hope that Atishi would address the city’s issues without hesitation, assuring her of full support for Delhi’s development.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Gopal Rai stated that the government aims to complete the work started by Kejriwal, focusing on controlling air pollution and providing free electricity and better education.

At 43, Atishi has become the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi, following Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dikshit. Other AAP leaders, including Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot, Imran Hussain, and Mukesh Ahlawat, also took oath as ministers in the new cabinet.
