Manoj Tiwari Accuses Arvind Kejriwal of Liquor Scam and Munak Canal Breach in Delhi

New Delhi, India – On Thursday, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of being the mastermind behind the Delhi liquor policy scam. Tiwari claimed that funds meant for slum areas were misused by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and called for Kejriwal’s resignation.

Speaking at a press conference, Tiwari said, “Money that was needed to be spent for the slum area was spent on the liquor scam by the AAP party… The AAP party looted public welfare money. Arvind Kejriwal used to say that if any allegations were made against me, I would resign from my post. Now, after the ED charge sheet, everything is clear so we hope on moral ground he will resign.”

Tiwari further stated that Kejriwal is the 37th accused in the charge sheet and emphasized that there is sufficient evidence against him. “There is no second opinion that Arvind Kejriwal is the kingpin of this entire incident. Arvind Kejriwal seems to be the mastermind of this entire scam and now he has been made accused,” he added.

In addition to the liquor scam, Tiwari addressed the recent breach of the Munak Canal in North Delhi, which led to flooding in nearby areas. He urged the Delhi government to take action to prevent such incidents in the future.

Delhi’s Water Minister Atishi responded by stating, “Today early morning, there has been a breach in one of the sub-branches of Munak Canal. Delhi Jal Board is working in close coordination with the Haryana Irrigation Department, who maintain the Munak Canal. Water has been diverted to the other sub-branch of the canal. Repair work has already started and will be completed by this afternoon. The breached sub-branch of the canal will be functional from tomorrow.”
