Manish Sisodia Released from Jail, Addresses AAP Workers in Delhi

Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), spoke to party workers at the AAP office after being released from Tihar Jail on August 9. The Supreme Court granted him bail in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.

During his address, Sisodia said, “These tears have given me strength,” and emphasized that although he hoped for justice within 7-8 months, it took 17 months for honesty and truth to prevail.

Sisodia accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of failing to uphold integrity in the states they govern. He remarked, “This web of ED and CBI was not created because Kejriwal’s name became a symbol of honesty across the country. The BJP, which claims to be the largest party in the world, has not been able to demonstrate honest governance in a single state they control. ‘Bhrastachar ka ek hi kaal, Kejriwal, Kejriwal’.”

Earlier in the day, Sisodia, accompanied by AAP leaders, visited Raj Ghat in Delhi. He also visited Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place to offer prayers, expressing that Lord Bajrang Bali has blessed him and Arvind Kejriwal.
