Manish Sisodia and Atishi Visit Delhi School, Celebrate Education Efforts

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia praised his party colleague and Delhi Education Minister Atishi for continuing the education revolution in Delhi. They visited Rajkiya Sarvodaya BAL Vidyalaya in West Vinod Nagar and interacted with students, who tied Rakhis to them.

Sisodia, who was recently released on bail after 17 months in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam, expressed his happiness over new educational initiatives. He mentioned that 20 new schools and a new sports school have been started, which he believes further strengthens Delhi’s education system.

Earlier, the Supreme Court granted bail to Sisodia in the excise policy irregularities cases, with conditions including surrendering his passport and not influencing witnesses. Sisodia was arrested in February 2023 by the CBI for alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of Delhi’s new excise policy, which was later withdrawn amid allegations of foul play by the opposition.
