Manipur CM N Biren Singh Celebrates Independence Day with ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh celebrated Independence Day by hoisting the national flag in Imphal. He urged every Indian citizen to contribute to national unity, saying, “India is great, Manipur is great. So, every citizen of India should get involved in every manner to unify India.”

Singh praised the successful implementation of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ across the state and expressed happiness over public participation despite challenges. He said, “I really appreciate the people of Manipur and extend them greetings on Independence Day.”

Discussing the current scenario in Manipur, Singh emphasized the importance of peace and ongoing efforts to restore it district by district. He mentioned that peace has been restored in Jiribam and similar efforts are being made elsewhere.

India is celebrating its 78th Independence Day with a theme of ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’, aiming to transform the country into a developed nation by 2047. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort and urged all Indians to work tirelessly to achieve these goals.
