Manchester United Signs Young Defender Leny Yoro from Lille

Manchester United has announced the signing of 18-year-old defender Leny Yoro from French club Lille. Yoro has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029, with an option to extend for another year.

Yoro has already made 60 appearances for Lille’s first team and was included in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season last year. He played a significant role in helping Lille finish fourth in the league.

After signing, Yoro said, “Signing for a club with the stature and ambition of Manchester United so early in my career is an incredible honour. Since my first conversations with the club, they set out a clear plan for how I can develop in Manchester as part of this exciting project, and showed a lot of care for me and my family.”
