Mamata Banerjee to Attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Wedding in Mumbai
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be attending the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai. She mentioned that she will also meet Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, and possibly Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, will marry Radhika Merchant on July 12. The wedding celebrations, organized by Mukesh and Nita Ambani, follow traditional Hindu Vedic customs and include several ceremonies:
- July 12: Shubh Vivah (wedding function)
- July 13: Shubh Aashirwad
- July 14: Mangal Utsav (wedding reception)
Earlier, the Ambanis organized a mass wedding for the underprivileged on July 2 and a grand Mameru ceremony on July 3. The Sangeet ceremony on July 5 featured a performance by global pop star Justin Bieber. Pre-wedding festivities were also held in Jamnagar with a star-studded guest list.
