Flight Operations Suspended
Due to the anticipated heavy winds and rainfall, flight operations at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata have been suspended from 6 PM today until 9 AM on October 25.
Evacuations and Safety Measures
The West Bengal government has evacuated 1,59,837 people and moved 83,537 to relief camps. A safe zone for fishing trawlers has been set up at Mohana in Digha, Purba Medinipur district. The control room in Howrah is actively monitoring the situation.
