Mamata Banerjee Celebrates Durga Puja with Kolkata Residents
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited the Durga Puja pandal at Navanir Home for the aged in Regent Park, Kolkata. She sang a song for the residents, expressing her affection by saying, “I find my own mother in all of you.” Banerjee also inaugurated the Alipore Bodyguard Line Durga Puja, mentioning her voice was strained from inaugurating many pandals.
Earlier, she inaugurated the Durga Puja at Jodhpur Park, emphasizing unity across religions, castes, and languages. She wished for everyone’s well-being and urged the public to support the administration during the celebrations. Banerjee highlighted her connection with the community and praised Jodhpur Park’s creativity.
