In a rally at Jamtara, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their comments on “infiltration” in Jharkhand. Kharge argued that managing international borders is the central government’s responsibility and questioned the BJP’s focus on infiltration during the Jharkhand polls.

Kharge highlighted the Congress party’s contributions, such as establishing IITs, AIIMS, and engineering colleges, and providing the country with its Constitution. He accused the BJP of ignoring common issues and creating fear about infiltration. Kharge also alleged that the BJP-led government is misusing the Constitution and suppressing freedom of speech.

He criticized the BJP for holding back funds owed to Jharkhand and pointed out the growing income inequality in the country. Kharge announced promises for the INDIA bloc government, including increased cash assistance for women, affordable LPG cylinders, employment opportunities, and better support for farmers.

Kharge urged voters to support the JMM-led alliance in the upcoming Jharkhand polls on November 20.
