Mahesh Kumar Khichi Elected as Delhi’s New Mayor
On Thursday, Mahesh Kumar Khichi from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was elected as the new mayor of Delhi. Khichi, representing the Dev Nagar ward in Karol Bagh, narrowly defeated BJP’s Kishan Lal from Shakurpur ward by three votes. Out of 265 total votes, Khichi received 133, while Lal got 130, with 2 votes declared invalid.
