This agreement aims to establish Centers of Excellence in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and the Internet of Things across Maharashtra’s educational institutions.

The MOU outlines plans to create Centers of Excellence in various government polytechnics and engineering colleges. These centers will focus on capacity training and research in cutting-edge technologies. Maharashtra already has a network of 40 government and 300 private polytechnics. The state has established Centers of Excellence in IoT and Robotics at several institutions, with plans to expand further using funds from this MOU.
