Vrushali Shrikant Shinde, the daughter-in-law of CM Shinde and wife of Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, highlighted the achievements of the ruling government. She mentioned initiatives like the monthly Rs 1500 deposit for women and a 50% discount on State Transport buses, which have been beneficial for women. She expressed confidence in CM Shinde’s victory, citing significant developments in infrastructure like roads and metro services.

Nomination Filing and Political Alliances

CM Shinde filed his nomination for the Maharashtra assembly election from the Kopri-Pachpakhadi constituency. Present at the nomination were Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, MP Shrikant Shinde, and other notable figures. The last date for filing nominations is October 29. The ruling Mahayuti alliance, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), and Ajit Pawar-led NCP, is competing against the opposition MVA alliance in the elections scheduled for November 20, with results on November 23.

In the 2019 assembly elections, the BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, and Congress 44. In 2014, the BJP secured 122 seats, Shiv Sena 63, and Congress 42.
