Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Visits Kamakhya Temple

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the Kamakhya temple in Guwahati, Assam, to seek blessings before the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. Shinde mentioned that visiting the temple is a regular practice for him, having done so before the last election and after forming the government in 2022. Confidence in Mahayuti Alliance

Maratha Reservation and Election Candidates

Addressing the Maratha reservation issue, Shinde stated the importance of non-discrimination between Marathas and OBCs. He will contest from the Kopri-Pachpakhadi Assembly constituency, with other Shiv Sena candidates also announced. The party has positioned Shinde as the chief ministerial candidate.

Upcoming Elections

The Maharashtra assembly elections are set for November 20, with results on November 23. The main contest is between the ruling Mahayuti alliance and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi. Both alliances are intensifying their preparations as the election dates approach.
