Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Visits Hospital After NCP Leader Baba Siddique’s Tragic Death
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to meet the family of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was fatally shot by unknown attackers. Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, along with other officials, also visited the hospital.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale emphasized the need for a thorough investigation and strict action against the culprits. NCP leader Pramod Hindurao expressed the party’s loss and determination to fight against such crimes.
CM Shinde assured the public of strict action against those responsible, revealing that two suspects from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have been arrested, while a third remains at large. He expressed confidence in the Mumbai Police’s ability to apprehend the remaining suspect.
Mumbai Additional CP Paramjit Singh Dahiya confirmed the arrests and stated that the Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating. The weapon used, a 9.9mm pistol, has been recovered.
