Maharashtra will hold assembly elections on November 20, with results on November 23. The political landscape features the MVA alliance of Congress, Shiv Sena-UBT, and NCP-SP against the ruling Mahayuti alliance of BJP, NCP, and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction). In the 2019 elections, the MVA coalition won 154 out of 288 seats. In the recent Lok Sabha elections, MVA secured 30 out of 48 seats, while the ruling alliance won 17.
