Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed the beautification of Sri Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi. During a meeting at Sahyadri State Guest House, Shinde emphasized speeding up the work to provide the best facilities for devotees.

The Mumbai Municipal Corporation will allocate five hundred crore rupees for this project. A detailed presentation was made to the Chief Minister, covering aspects like accommodation for devotees, a five-kilometre corridor, shops, parking, arrangements for darshan, queues for devotees, and other facilities in the temple area.

Key officials, including Guardian Minister of Mumbai City District Deepak Kesarkar, President of Sri Siddhivinayak Trust MLA Sada Saravankar, Former MP Rahul Shewale, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Dr I. S. Chahal, and Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Bhushan Gagrani, attended the meeting.
