Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Extends Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Till September 30

Dharashiv (Maharashtra) [India], September 14: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced on Saturday that the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme has been extended until September 30. He assured that no one can stop this scheme.

Speaking at the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana campaign event, CM Shinde criticized the opposition for forgetting their promises after elections. He said, “My Laadli sisters, this enthusiasm proves that our scheme has been successful. The deadline for our scheme for Laadli sisters has been extended till 30 September. Those who have not received money in their accounts will get another chance. No one can stop this scheme, but some people tried to create obstacles in this scheme but could not succeed.”

He added, “Those who live with a silver spoon, surrounded by wealth, won’t understand the value of this 1500 rupees. Its true value is known to my poor mothers and sisters. I am also the son of a farmer, and I have seen hardships.”

CM Shinde further asserted that his government fulfills its commitments. “These people and their leaders used to say during elections that money would start pouring into your accounts, but as soon as the elections were over, they forgot their promises. It was as if a ‘printing mistake’ had occurred. But the promises we made, we fulfilled them. When we make a commitment, we don’t even listen to ourselves. Balasaheb also used to say, ‘Either don’t give promises, but if you do, then fulfil them at any cost,” he said.

The Maharashtra CM added that they want to see women become millionaires. “Our resolution won’t stop at 1500 rupees. We want to see our sisters become millionaires. As our Prime Minister says, ‘If women are empowered, the nation becomes empowered,” he said.

The Maharashtra government launched the scheme on August 17 to provide financial assistance to women and make them more independent and self-reliant. The scheme aims to empower women through financial assistance, providing Rs 1,500 per month to women aged 21-65 with an annual income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
