Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his son, Kalyan MP Shrikant Shinde, participated in the Ganesh idol immersion at Masuda Pond in Thane. The festivities began on Saturday with Shinde offering ‘Aarti’ at his residence.

Celebrations are widespread across cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi, with homes and pandals decorated elaborately. A unique celebration in Mumbai featured a Ganesh idol on a replica of the LCA Tejas Mark 1A fighter jet.

The famous Lalbaugcha Raja’s first look was unveiled, and Nagpur’s Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi held traditional prayers.
