Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Criticizes Previous Government at Dussehra Rally

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde addressed a large gathering at Azad Maidan during the Shiv Sena’s Dussehra event. He accused the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government of hindering the state’s development by placing obstacles in various projects. Shinde emphasized his commitment to progress, stating, “A true Shiv Sainik never deserts the battlefield or their ideals.”

Shinde criticized the opposition, claiming they underestimated his government, which has now completed two years in power. He highlighted achievements such as providing housing for 2.10 lakh slum dwellers in Dharavi and accused the previous government of corruption and mismanagement, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He listed several stalled projects under the MVA, including the Metro and Bullet Train, and criticized the increased costs due to delays. Shinde assured that the current government is focused on development and has allocated significant funds for various initiatives, including aid to farmers.
