Political Leaders Attend the Ceremony

On Saturday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde attended the ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. He was accompanied by Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.

Other notable political figures at the event included Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, BJP leader Smriti Irani with her husband, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, exchanged vows on July 12. The wedding was attended by Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and international celebrity Kim Kardashian.

Radhika’s Stunning Attire

Radhika captivated everyone with her style and grace. For her vidai ceremony, she wore a traditional ivory and red lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and later changed into a sindoori red ensemble by Manish Malhotra. Her look was completed with a Banarasi silk dupatta and a dramatic veil. She also wore heirloom jewellery adorned with gold, diamonds, and emeralds.

Upcoming Celebrations

The celebrations will continue with the ‘Mangal Utsav,’ the wedding reception, on July 14 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
