Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Assures Justice for Pune Porsche Crash Victims

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met with the parents of the two engineers who died in the Pune Porsche crash case. He assured them that the culprits would be punished and handed over Rs 10 lakh cheques to the victims’ families. The meeting took place at the Sahyadri guest house, where Shinde consoled Omprakash Awadhiya and Suresh Koshta, the fathers of the deceased.

Shinde promised that strict action would be taken against the culprits and that the case would be tried in a fast-track court to ensure justice. He thanked the Maharashtra Police for their efforts in reopening the case and taking action against the culprits.

On the same day, the Bombay High Court granted bail to the juvenile accused in the Pune car accident case. The court ordered the release of the minor into the care of his paternal aunt, noting that the Juvenile Justice Board’s remand orders were illegal. Advocate Prashant Patil, representing the minor, explained that the remand orders were challenged and set aside by the High Court.

Present at the meeting were Minister Sanjay Rathod, Chief Secretary Dr. Nitin Karir, Chief Minister’s Office Principal Secretary Vikas Kharge, Pune Yuva Sena Secretary Kiran Sali, and other family members of the victims.
