Maharashtra’s Path to Prosperity: Mahayuti Alliance’s New Manifesto
In a significant move ahead of the assembly elections, the Mahayuti alliance, consisting of the BJP, Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde, and NCP led by Ajit Pawar, has launched a comprehensive manifesto. This was announced during a public meeting in Kolhapur North by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.

The manifesto outlines a ten-point agenda aimed at transforming Maharashtra into a hub of prosperity and development. It promises economic relief for farmers, job creation for the youth, enhanced women’s safety, and social security for senior citizens.
Support for Women and Farmers
Under the ‘Ladki Bahin’ scheme, monthly allowances for women will increase from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100. Additionally, 25,000 new police recruits will be hired to enhance women’s safety. Farmers will benefit from a loan waiver and increased annual support of Rs 15,000 under the “Shetkari Sanman Yojna,” along with a 20% MSP subsidy.
Social Security and Infrastructure
Senior citizens will see their monthly pensions rise to Rs 2,100. The manifesto also promises to pave roads in 45,000 villages, improving rural infrastructure. Anganwadi and ASHA workers will receive a salary increase to Rs 15,000 per month, along with insurance security.
Energy and Employment
The manifesto pledges a 30% reduction in electricity bills and a shift towards renewable energy. It also aims to create 25 lakh jobs and provide stipends of Rs 10,000 per month to train 10 lakh students.
Vision Maharashtra 2029
The alliance plans to present ‘Vision Maharashtra 2029’ within the first 100 days of forming the government, outlining a roadmap for the state’s future.
The Maharashtra elections are scheduled for November 20, with vote counting on November 23.
