Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule Promises Support for Farmers and Women

Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Maharashtra BJP President, announced that the Mahayuti government will prioritize the needs of farmers, women, and marginalized communities during the monsoon session of the Maharashtra legislature from June 27 to July 12.

Speaking about the upcoming session, Bawankule said, “The session of the Maharashtra Legislature is starting tomorrow (June 27), and this is the budget session of 14 crore people of Maharashtra. Their concern with this budget is what the Maharashtra government should give them.”

The monsoon session will be held from June 27 to July 12, with the supplementary budget being tabled on June 28. Bawankule expressed confidence that the Mahayuti government will make good decisions for the farmers, women, and economically weak sections of Maharashtra.

He criticized the INDIA bloc and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) for focusing on caste politics instead of development issues. Bawankule said, “The INDIA bloc and the MVA never talk about development, do politics on caste and try to confuse people.”

He further asserted that the government under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and the state government will work for Maharashtra’s progress. “The Central and state government will work to take Maharashtra forward and the people of the state will stand with the development,” he added.

In the recent Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won nine seats, Shiv Sena secured seven, and NCP managed one seat in Maharashtra. The MVA alliance bagged 30 seats, with Congress winning 13, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) eight, and Shiv Sena (UBT) nine.
