Maha Vikas Aghadi Accuses Mahayuti Government of Betrayal and Corruption in New Booklet

Maha Vikas Aghadi Releases ‘Gaddarancha Panchnama’ Booklet

As the Maharashtra assembly elections approach, the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has released a booklet titled ‘Gaddarancha Panchnama’. This booklet accuses the ruling Mahayuti government of betraying Maharashtra’s values and engaging in corruption.

Allegations Against Mahayuti

The MVA claims that the Mahayuti government disrespected Maharashtra’s revered icons, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and failed to fulfill promises such as creating 5 crore new jobs. The booklet also highlights issues like increased crimes against women and farmer suicides due to GST burdens.

Statements from MVA Leaders

Sharad Pawar, leader of the NCP (SP), emphasized the details in the booklet during its release. Uddhav Thackeray, chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), criticized the BJP’s leadership and challenged them to announce their chief ministerial candidate first.

Response from Mahayuti

In response, Eknath Shinde, a leader from the Mahayuti alliance, defended his administration’s stability and achievements, stating that Maharashtra would have lagged if the previous MVA government had continued.

Upcoming Elections

The Maharashtra Assembly elections will see a contest between the MVA alliance, which includes Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Congress, and the Mahayuti alliance, comprising BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction).
