Madhya Pradesh CM Praises Maharashtra’s Ladki Bahin Yojana and Discusses Shivshrushthi Theme Park
Pune (Maharashtra) [India], October 1: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the Maharashtra government’s Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme, calling it a notable initiative for women’s empowerment. He stated, “It is a very good scheme and so many states are adopting this scheme and I am happy about it…it is a notable scheme for women empowerment…opposition has never done anything other than looting people so they feel power is slipping through their hands.”
Speaking on the Shivshrushthi Theme Park, Yadav said, “Depicting the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, this has emerged as a centre of devotion. He lived for this country – the life of someone like him has been depicted beautifully.”
The Maharashtra government launched the Ladki Bahin Yojana on August 17 to provide financial assistance to women, making them more independent and self-reliant. The scheme offers Rs 1,500 per month to women aged 21-65 with an annual income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a detailed discussion with party leaders and workers in Mumbai’s Dadar, claiming that the formation of a ‘Mahayuti’ government in Maharashtra is certain. Shah stated, “While on one hand, the MVA alliance in Maharashtra is setting records of crossing all limits of appeasement, on the other hand, the NDA government of the state under the leadership of Modi ji is setting new records for the welfare of all sections. Today in the meeting in Dadar, Mumbai, the workers took a pledge to form ‘NDA government.”
On the occasion, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar, and other leaders were also present.
Earlier on September 25, Amit Shah in Nashik held a detailed discussion with party leaders and workers, emphasizing that only the NDA government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, can speed up the development of Maharashtra.
