Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Opens Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Sports Complex in Ujjain
On November 1, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Multipurpose Sports Complex in Ujjain. The complex, costing Rs 11.43 crore, covers 18 acres and includes an international-standard athletic track, gym, and facilities for various sports like badminton, table tennis, and shooting.
During the event, CM Yadav toured the complex, observed a Malkhamb performance, and interacted with athletes. He praised India’s sports progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the development of world-class infrastructure. CM Yadav emphasized the role of sports in fostering trust and confidence and noted the integration of sports into education in Madhya Pradesh.
He also announced plans for a new hockey stadium and a world-class cricket stadium at Vikram University. Ujjain’s rich sporting heritage, especially in Malkhamb, was acknowledged, with hopes for young athletes to excel nationally and internationally.
