In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended warm Diwali greetings to state government employees and announced an increase in their Dearness Allowance (DA). The DA will rise by 4% from January 1, 2024, moving from 46% to 50%.

CM Yadav emphasized the government’s duty to support its employees, acknowledging their dedication and hard work. He noted that the increased DA rate of 46% had been effective since July 1, 2023, with arrears paid in installments. The new 50% rate will also be distributed in four equal installments.

In a message on social media, CM Yadav expressed gratitude for the employees’ contributions to the state’s progress. He also highlighted the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day on November 1, celebrating the state’s formation in 1956.
