Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Plants Sapling in Bhopal for ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in a special event organized by the 23rd and 25th Battalion of Special Armed Forces (SAF) in Bhopal. This event was part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, where CM Yadav planted a Rudraksha tree.
The campaign, started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Environment Day, aims to plant 5.5 crore trees across Madhya Pradesh. On this occasion, around 1.25 lakh saplings were planted simultaneously by police units across the state.
Addressing the gathering, CM Yadav highlighted the importance of the campaign in raising social awareness about environmental protection. He praised the police for their dedication to the cause and their efforts in maintaining law and order. CM Yadav also mentioned that the state government is committed to supporting the police department.
Earlier, on July 6, CM Yadav launched the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in Bhopal, planting trees with public representatives. The campaign encourages every citizen to plant a tree in the name of their mothers, with activities being conducted in various districts across the state.
