Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav and Congress MLAs Discuss State Development
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 1: On Tuesday, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met with Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and Congress MLAs at his residence in Bhopal. They discussed various state and regional issues to promote the overall development of Madhya Pradesh.

CM Yadav emphasized the importance of a positive opposition for the state’s development. He mentioned that district collectors have been instructed to survey crop damage and improve facilities for Gaushalas (cow shelters). Efforts are being made to make Madhya Pradesh a leading state in milk production. A state delimitation commission has been formed to address boundary issues of districts, divisions, and tehsils.
Yadav also highlighted the need for all MLAs, whether from Congress or BJP, to create Vision documents for their constituencies. He assured equal support to all MLAs and expressed the goal of doubling the state’s economy within five years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar raised concerns about law and order, atrocities against Dalits, tribals, and women. He urged immediate action against incompetent officers and reminded the BJP of its electoral promises regarding Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat and paddy. Singhar also demanded a survey for crop damage and compensation for farmers, along with an increase in the MSP for Soybean.
CM Yadav assured that these issues would be addressed within the next seven days.
