Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav to Attend Regional Industry Conclave in Sagar
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will participate in the fourth Regional Industries Conclave in Sagar district on Friday. The event will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Police Academy Ground and will see participation from industrialists and investors from India and abroad.
During the opening session, leading industrialists will share their views on investing in the state. CM Yadav will also virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various new and proposed projects, including the regional office of Sagar, Bhopal, and Narmadapuram divisions, and the MPIDC office in Coimbatore.
The conclave will feature sectoral sessions on petrochemicals, agriculture, food processing, MSMEs, startups, and renewable energy. A special focus will be on the local cottage industry, particularly the bidi industry. Discussions will also cover the ‘One District-One Product’ initiative, focusing on the quality, marketing, and processing of local products.
This event is a prelude to the ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025’, scheduled to be held in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The summit aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a leading investment destination by showcasing its resources and industrial environment.
The first edition of the Regional Industry Conclave was held in Ujjain in March, followed by events in Jabalpur and Gwalior. Interactive sessions on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh have also been held outside the state as part of the pre-event activities for the Global Investor Summit.
