Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav called an emergency meeting at Samatva Bhawan in Bhopal to review the situation of excessive rain and ongoing rescue work in the state. The meeting included divisional commissioners, police officials, and other key personnel via video conferencing.

CM Yadav instructed the cancellation of all officers’ leaves until the situation normalizes. He emphasized the need to ensure that people do not face problems due to floods and other issues. He urged residents to stay safe and contact the district administration if their homes are unsafe.

The CM mentioned that similar rain conditions might persist until September 30, and all departments have been directed to conduct relief and rescue operations with top priority. He assured that the government is committed to saving lives and providing timely help to affected people.

In case of loss of life, a relief amount of Rs 4 Lakh will be provided to the family. Immediate arrangements will be made to airlift people trapped in flooded areas, and old dilapidated buildings will be identified for protective measures.
