On August 10, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred a total of Rs 1897 crores to 1.29 crore beneficiaries. This amount includes Rs 1,250 monthly aid under the Ladli Behna Yojana and Rs 250 as Raksha Bandhan ‘shagun’. The transfer was made through a single click at a program in Vijaipur, Sheopur district.

Of the total amount, over Rs 1,574 crores were given as monthly aid under the Ladli Behna Yojana, and over Rs 322 crores as Raksha Bandhan ‘shagun’. Additionally, CM Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 344 crores.

During the program, CM Yadav also transferred over Rs 52 crores to 25 lakh women under the Gas Cylinder Refill Scheme, providing LPG at Rs 450. Furthermore, over Rs 332 crores were transferred to more than 55 lakh beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme.

Before the Sheopur event, CM Yadav attended a program in Tikamgarh under ‘Rakshabandhan and Shravan Utsav’, where he distributed benefits to various scheme beneficiaries. Women from a self-help group presented a huge Rakhi to him.

In Tikamgarh, CM Yadav highlighted the benefits provided to farmers by both the central and state governments. He mentioned the upcoming Ken-Betwa Link Project and announced a new medical college for Tikamgarh.
