Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Pays Tribute to Late BJP Leader Prabhat Jha
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Medanta Medicity Hospital in Gurugram to meet the family of late BJP leader Prabhat Jha, who passed away at 67. CM Yadav expressed his condolences and praised Jha’s contributions to the party and society.
CM Yadav wrote on social media, ‘Today, I reached Medanta Medicity Hospital in Gurugram and met late Prabhat Jha’s son Tusmul Jha and his family members and expressed my condolences. Bhai Saheb’s (Prabhat Jha) life was dedicated to strengthening the organisation and upliftment of the weaker sections, I bow down to his feet.’
Earlier, CM Yadav expressed his grief, stating, ‘Quite sad news was received about the demise of former state president of the BJP MP and senior leader Prabhat Jha. May Baba Mahakal give peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss. Your (Prabhat Jha) vital role in the development of Madhya Pradesh will always inspire us. Your demise is an irreparable loss to the political world. Om Shanti!’
BJP state president VD Sharma also paid tribute, saying, ‘Received very sad news about the demise of senior BJP leader, former state president of BJP MP, Prabhat Jha. May God give peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this terrible loss. Om Shanti!’
Prabhat Jha was born on June 4, 1957, in Hariharpur, Darbhanga district, Bihar. He served as Madhya Pradesh BJP president from May 8, 2010, to December 15, 2012, and was elected as a member of Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh in April 2008.
