Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Empowers Women with Financial Aid in Indore
In a significant event held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred funds to beneficiaries of various schemes with a single click. The event saw Rs 1573 crores deposited into the bank accounts of 1.29 crore beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana, as part of a monthly instalment of Rs 1250. Additionally, Rs 55 crores were transferred to 26 lakh women for the LPG cylinder refill scheme, and Rs 333 crores to 55 lakh beneficiaries of social security pensions.
Addressing the gathering, CM Yadav emphasized the government’s commitment to women empowerment, highlighting the increase in monthly aid from Rs 1000 to Rs 1250, with plans for further increments. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reserving 33% of seats for women in elections, calling it a historic move.
The event also featured fireworks and a sword fencing demonstration by women, which CM Yadav applauded. In a social media post, he expressed pride in the courage of the women and reiterated his commitment to their well-being and self-reliance.
