Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Plans Big Industrial Projects for 2025
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reviewed the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department’s activities at Mantralaya. He announced that 2025 will be celebrated as the Year of Industry.
Major Projects and Investments
CM Yadav discussed several major projects:
- A Rs 35,000 crore investment in mega projects in Pithampur and Ratlam, expected to create over one lakh jobs.
- The Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor, covering 3200 acres and worth Rs 2125 crore, also expected to employ about one lakh people.
- Indore’s Multimodal Logistics Park project, worth Rs 20,000 crore, which will employ over 5,000 people.
- A Medical Device Park in Ujjain’s Vikrampuri Industrial Area, with Rs 100 crore approved by the Government of India.
Future Plans
CM Yadav emphasized the importance of employment-oriented industries and announced an Investors Summit for January 2025. Regional industrial summits will be held across the state, and efforts will be made to retain IT sector jobs within Madhya Pradesh.
