Madhya Pradesh ATS Arrests Terrorist Faizan in Khandwa

The Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested a terrorist named Faizan, aged 34, from his home in Khandwa district. Faizan is associated with the banned group Indian Mujahideen (IM). The ATS team found a large amount of Jihadi literature, four mobile phones, a pistol, and five live cartridges at his residence.

Inspector General Dr. Ashish stated, “On the instruction of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the state ATS is maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. Faizan has been charged under Sections 13 (1) (B), 18, 20, 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.”

The ATS also discovered that Faizan was in contact with members of the banned Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and was spreading terrorist ideologies on social media. His mobile phone contained videos and photos of various terrorist organizations, including ISIS, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
