Doubts Revealed

L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions -: L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions is a part of Larsen & Toubro, a big company in India that works on building and engineering projects. They focus on creating energy solutions that are better for the environment.

Thermal Power Plants -: Thermal power plants are places where electricity is made by using heat. This heat usually comes from burning coal, oil, or gas to boil water, which then turns into steam and spins a turbine to generate electricity.

NTPC -: NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation. It is a government-owned company in India that produces electricity and is one of the largest power companies in the country.

Limited Notice to Proceed -: A ‘Limited Notice to Proceed’ is a permission given to a company to start some parts of a project before the full contract is finalized. It allows work to begin while details are still being worked out.

Rs 15,000 crore -: Rs 15,000 crore is a way to express a large amount of money in India. One crore is equal to ten million, so Rs 15,000 crore is 150 billion rupees.

Gadarwara and Nabinagar -: Gadarwara and Nabinagar are places in India. Gadarwara is in the state of Madhya Pradesh, and Nabinagar is in the state of Bihar. These are the locations where the new thermal power plants will be built.

Boilers and Turbines -: Boilers and turbines are important parts of a thermal power plant. A boiler heats water to create steam, and a turbine is a machine that the steam turns to generate electricity.
