LPG Cylinder Explosion in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar Injures Three People

Three people were injured after an LPG cylinder exploded in a residential building in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar area. The incident occurred at around 2:30 pm in Sanjay Enclave. Firefighters controlled the fire after two hours. One injured person was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, while two others received primary treatment. A woman named Suman and her son Nakul were residing in the building. Further investigation is underway.

Details of the Incident

The explosion happened in Sanjay Enclave, Uttam Nagar, at around 2:30 pm. The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) acted swiftly and sent fire tenders to control the fire. After two hours of hard work, the fire was completely controlled.

Injuries and Evacuation

Out of the three injured people, one was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, while the other two were discharged after primary treatment. A woman named Suman and her son Nakul were residing on the second floor of the building. Nakul got injured and was shifted to the hospital.

Further Investigation

The reasons for the explosion are being investigated. Meanwhile, a team of police officials from the Bindapur police station also reached the spot and evacuated the building.

Related Incident

On Saturday, two people were killed in an explosion at a fireball manufacturing factory in the Daulatabad Industrial Area of Gurugram. Around 24 fire tenders were deployed to control the fire. Fire Officer Ramesh Kumar reported that three to four people were injured and shifted to the hospital.
