Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Encourages Youth at New Delhi Institute of Management
New Delhi, October 1: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla referred to the youth of India as harbingers of change, highlighting their potential, hard work, skills, and innovations. He noted that Indian youth are contributing to both national and global growth and are already leading in several sectors.
Birla addressed students and faculty members at the New Delhi Institute of Management, Tughlakabad, urging them to study hard, innovate, and excel to make their lives better and contribute to the country’s development and self-reliance.
He mentioned the advantageous demographic structure of developed countries, encouraging Indian youth to excel in their careers and lead the world with their expertise. Birla also spoke about Mahatma Gandhi’s role as a youth leader and his contribution to India’s freedom struggle, urging students to take inspiration from him.
Birla emphasized the importance of fulfilling the Prime Minister’s pledge to make India a developed nation by 2047 and stressed that New India is setting the global agenda. He called for every Indian to work towards making India stronger and more developed.
On the occasion, Birla awarded certificates and prizes to meritorious students and achievers in different fields. Member of Parliament Ramvir Singh Bidhuri was also present at the event.
