10th India Suppliers Conference

Lockheed Martin held its 10th India Suppliers Conference in Bengaluru. The event was inaugurated by Priyank Mallikarjun Kharge, Karnataka’s Minister for Information Technology and Biotechnology. He highlighted Karnataka’s commitment to ‘local for global’ manufacturing, promoting self-reliance.

Long-standing Partnership

Earlier this month, Lockheed Martin and TASL expanded their business relationship through the C-130J Super Hercules tactical airlifter. This agreement includes establishing an MRO facility in India and expanding C-130J manufacturing and assembly for the IAF’s Medium Transport Aircraft program.

Lockheed Martin and TASL have been partners since 2010 through the Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Ltd. (TLMAL) joint venture. TLMAL supports India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and is the sole global source of C-130J empennage assemblies for all new Super Hercules aircraft produced in the United States.
