Lobin Hembrom Joins BJP, Criticizes Jharkhand Mukti Morcha
Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], August 31: Lobin Hembrom, who was expelled from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) earlier this year, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He made this move in the presence of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Hembrom expressed that people in JMM are unhappy and stated, “JMM is not JMM anymore.” He also mentioned the need to strategize on how to protect the local people and tribals from infiltrators, particularly from Bangladesh.
This development comes as Jharkhand prepares for an election to the 81-member legislative assembly, with dates yet to be announced by the Election Commission of India.
Meanwhile, Assam CM Sarma met with Champai Soren, who also joined BJP recently. Sarma invited Soren to visit Assam, worship at the Maa Kamakhya Temple, and have a meal at his house.
