Lionel Messi’s 37th Birthday Celebrated with Giant Cake by Kolkata Fans

In Kolkata, fans of Lionel Messi celebrated his 37th birthday with a special cake that looked like a football pitch. The Argentina Football Fan Club at Ganguly Bagan in South Kolkata cut an 80-pound cake that was 4.5 feet long and 3 feet wide.

Special Cake for a Special Player

Pragnan Saha, a member of the fan club, shared, “It took around a week to be made. We have one special guy who is making it for us every single year. The color is dedicated to Argentina and Lionel Messi. Everything here is dedicated to Argentina. We have celebrated Maradona and Messi’s birthday and we will continue to do so.”

Love for Messi

Founder secretary of the club, Uttam Saha, expressed his admiration for Messi, saying, “My heart longs to see Messi again and again. We are always looking on TV when they will show Messi during the match. We want to see Messi lift the Copa America trophy again.”

Messi started his career with FC Barcelona’s U14 squad and quickly rose through the ranks. He made his senior debut at 17 and became the youngest star in the team.
